Grab your favorite pencils, erasers, and an empty notebook and head into the heart of Chicago, IL for a Saturday of sketching. Join WSOL’s Design Director, Dennis Kardys, at Sketch Camp Chicago on Saturday, November 2. Tickets only cost $50, and the event will be held at Harrington College of Design. Dennis will be running The Straight Up “How To Draw Better” Workshop that is bound to enhance both beginners’ and experts’ sketching skills. Take a look at some of his previous sketches from Speaker Camp Chicago 2013 (Right) and BdConf Nashville 2011 (Below).
You can not only attend this workshop with Dennis, but also enjoy an entire day filled with Sketching insight from experts including keynote speakers Dan Klyn, co-founder of The Understanding Group (TUG), and Peter Merholz, VP of Global Design at Groupon. Several other workshops will also take place, including “Explore, Persuade, Destroy: An Introduction to Storyboard Techniques” with Abi Jones, and “Rapid Paper Prototyping” with Lauren Johnson.
